The final day of our fantastic residential. After another hearty breakfast we set off for Seahouses and boarded the boat for our tour of the Farne Islands. We saw an incredible range of birdlife, including the much anticipated puffins! We also saw the beautiful grey seals and Grace Darling's lighthouse.

Another fabulous day, this time spent at Alnwick castle and gardens then a pleasant evening on the beach. The children have found out about medieval medicine, become poison plant experts and escaped the dragon in the Knight's Quest!

Year 5 have enjoyed the sunshine in Edinburgh today after catching the train from Berwick-upon-Tweed. Treasures were discovered in the National Museum of Scotland before learning about Edinburgh's grisly past with the Horrible Histories sightseeing bus tour.
